In this series at Paris's Palais de Tokyo, Isabelle Grosse-Mileo set up a temporary studio and invited visitors to pose using gestures that created a sense of concealment through limb positioning, turning away, or casting shadows with their bodies. The body becomes both subject and frame, simultaneously exposed to the camera yet shielded by its own presence. This paradox suggests the body operates as both threshold and barrier, revealing and obscuring in the same gesture.

This photographic investigation subsequently generated a corpus of 100 drawings and a slide projection.
